I just washed my car I have a tank full of gas I wanna go far and get there fast Because if I know one thing The blues will slow you down And if I keep on moving, they'll never come around. The blues are slow they always take so long but if you let them catch up they're gonna hold on strong Because if I know one thing the blues will slow you down and if I keep on moving They'll never come around. I knew a lady She was good to me but when I stayed with her, the blues stayed with me. And now I keep on moving and the blues don't come around. Because if I know one thing, the blues will slow you down.

PCH 03:48
I know I don't know where I'm going But maybe for now the drive is all I need I know this is where I wanna be But for now I don't know what all it wants me to see With the sunrise painted on my windshield Announcing a new day to claim I know what I hear and I the message is clear The pacific coast highway calling my name For now there’s a love that I'm longing But I know it can soon come along It's an 8 hour day, All that keeps me away From the joy of the words in a song And it isn’t the drive That will keep my spirits alive It's the chance it will lead to an opening door And no matter which exits I take Or the lessons I learn by mistake I'll always drive back to that road by the shore But where will I go? Where will I go? Where will I go? I still don’t know What I’ll find at the end of this road With the sunset painted on my windshield And the ocean reflecting the same It isn't a game or a big picture fame Just the pacific coast highway calling my name

Honeymoon 05:21
I don’t think you’re happy And I don’t think its wrong To say that I’m sorry This didn’t last too long I don’t want to do this We started off so strong But we’ve kissed for that last time We’re done singing our song Take me back to the honeymoon Let's sit along the shore Cling to the moments When we were happy before Take me back to the honeymoon And keep the tide at bay Cause we know that we’re just like The waves at our feet We will crash and then slowly drift away It wasn’t just you And It wasn’t just me And it wasn’t just right How we thought it would be But we can’t keep this going We can’t stay by the sea We can’t base our love Off of just memories Take me back to the honeymoon Let's sit along the shore Cling to the moments When we were happy before Take me back to the honeymoon And keep the tide at bay Cause we know that we’re just like The waves at our feet We will crash and then slowly drift away I’m glad that I saw you Again yesterday There’s a couple of reasons It was good to see your face We smiled at memories I keep in my heart And you also reminded me Why we’re so much better apart Let's go back to the honeymoon Let's sit along the shore Cling to the moments When we were happy before Take me back to the honeymoon And keep the tide at bay Cause we know that we’re just like The waves at our feet We will crash and slowly drift away

Happier Man 03:31
I think about a clueless boy who was scared of what could be And now this clueless man is sure that his chance is history I think about museum visits and beautiful sculptures there But my favorite piece of art could walk, had blue eyes and dark brown hair But too much thinking stops my heart And seeing you makes it restart I tried to act And learn the facts Now I've said all that I can So I think if I saw more of you, I'd be a happier man I think about Sunday mornings I think about the friend I never see I think about the nights I wished that songs could write my life and weren't just wishful words that woke me up lonely But too much thinking stops my heart And seeing you makes it restart I tried to act And learn the facts Now I've said all that I can So I think if I saw more of you, I'd be a happier man Yes I think if I saw more of you, I'd be a happier man.

Siren Song 03:32
She’s got a man at home But she don’t care She’s got what you want And she wants to share Siren Siren She’s a teaser if you ever saw She’s a pleaser but it won’t last long Feel your heart move, to the beat of her shoes And feel it rip in half as she walks away The siren pulls the strings inside your heart She’ll have you in her hands right from the start She’ll make it easy And she’ll make you cry She might leave but she’ll never ever say goodbye Years ago I heard the siren’s song Years of nightmares later, she still ain’t gone Calling out my name As I try to run away And still my heart beats just to see her face

I couldnt think of a better face to enter into view Just tapping on my shoulder to let me know that it was you and greeting me with nothing but a hello and a smile And telling me it's great to see me because it's been a while Now your friendly face is sitting fresh within my head Forgot the thoughts that trouble me your on my mind instead I can't think of a better way to brighten up my day Than talking with friendly face who knows just what to say Hello to you friendly stranger It's you who puts a smile on my face Hello to you friendly stranger It's you who makes my world a better place What a great coincidence to see you here today I wish that I had only had the time to sit and stay If only life could pause itself for a minute or maybe two Then I could hang around and resume my life with you But there's just too many strings puling on me everyday Too many strangers standing in my way But seeing you reminded me what matters in the end All the strangers couldn’t hold a candle to one friend So here's to you friendly stranger It's you who puts a smile on my face Hello to you friendly stranger It's you who makes my world a better place So I'll be less of a stranger If I see more of you my friend.

Music Man 04:38
There's a boy on the corner playing a brand new guitar He struggles for now but he knows that someday he’ll go far He has stars in his eyes And his spirit is on the rise He plays for the music and that boy looks so happy to me There's a man on the corner who plays at the local bars Everyone knows him, he became quite the local star The music is still why he plays But this town is too small, he can’t stay He plays for tomorrow and his music sounds so good to me One day that man left town to see How much greener that grass could be But when he came back his pockets were empty and his face was weary and long But he never stopped singing his song No he never stopped singing his song There's a old man on the corner playing the his old set of songs His voice is shaky and his hands are weak But he still just keeps singing along And the music still sounds good to me The music still sounds good to me And I asked the old man, after all of these years, why do you still sing today? What keeps your spirit lifted and singing the songs you continue to play My hands are weak and my songs are old and my voice is nearly gone But even tho my body will die the music will always live on music will always live on The corner is empty today but the streets never made so much sound There's chaos and trouble without any music around And I loved the music man and the songs that he'd play I never thought I'd see the day when the music man wasn't around to play and I never thought I'd have to go home and say I guess there's no music today I guess there's no music today But his voice in my head says that it will live on the music will always live on music will always live on There's a boy on the corner playing an old man's guitar

I'm on a train to Boston today Changes are surrounding me, an arms reach away No more facts avoiding me No more child's play Life has jumped the tracks I'm on my way In the car I'm driving to LA Packed my life inside this moving state of mind I know just where I'm headed, I know just what awaits Life is on the road I'm on my way I'm on plane to London today Life is out there some where, and Im ready to find my way No more chasing dollar signs And no more graded fates Life's up in the air I'm on my way I'm on a plane I think I'm heading home Some much I have learned, I have ceased to roam No more running aimlessly, Time for solid ground Touch down from the sky I'm going home Say goodbye to me it's time to go Embrace me like the time we spent, in days before I'm glad i got to pass this way And I long for another day But this trail goes on, so I'll be on my way This trail goes on, so I'll be on my way This trail goes on, and I'm on my way.

First step we separate Try to anticipate But it's no use It's just heart abuse Next step, interrogate Question, answer, circulate I won't lie I am all mixed up this time And I want to forget Do my best to make it on my own But I don't know I don't know Is there a situation That will make this right If one of us doesn't sleep alone tonight Idk if I can cage a jealous mind Cause I don't wanna lose this time Step three we're isolated Thoughts run while incarcerated Given all this time I might lose my mind And I wanna let go And save myself from being on my own But I don't know I don't know I don’t want to lose it all Is there a situation That will make this right If one of us doesn't sleep alone tonight Idk if I can cage a jealous mind Cause I don't wanna lose this time Last step, we're one on one Will we love what we’ve become? I still don't know But I can’t let go. Is there a situation That will make this right If one of us doesn't sleep alone tonight Idk if I can cage a jealous mind Cause I don't wanna lose this time
